What exactly am I buying?

A Windows desktop focus timer that lets you choose a task, start a session, and get nudged back when you go idle.

Does IdleJolt track what apps I use?

No. IdleJolt does not track apps, websites, documents, screenshots, or keystroke contents. It only checks basic keyboard and mouse activity to know when you have gone idle.

Is IdleJolt an ADHD app?

No. It may be useful for people with focus difficulties, but it is not a medical tool and does not make treatment claims.

Is this a Pomodoro timer?

It can be used like one, but the key difference is task intention plus idle nudges. It reminds you what you meant to be doing when you drift.

Does it block websites?

No. IdleJolt is not a blocker. It is a nudge tool.

Who is it for?

Writers, students, remote workers, freelancers, programmers, admin workers, and anyone who works alone at a desk and tends to drift.

Is this Windows only?

Yes. The current release targets Windows 10 and Windows 11 desktop.

Is there a subscription?

No. IdleJolt is currently sold as a one-time payment.

How do I download after purchase?

Use the Lemon Squeezy receipt email or Buyer Download. Use the same email address used at checkout.

Does core behavior require an account?

No account registration, cloud login, or social login is required for the core app behavior.

Can SmartScreen appear?

Yes, because code signing is currently disabled for Windows builds. Only run files from official IdleJolt purchase/download links, and check the exact file names in the install guide.

Will it update?

Direct builds check GitHub releases in-app and apply downloaded updates on next launch.

Who handles payment?

Checkout is handled by Lemon Squeezy/Stripe. IdleJolt does not process card details inside the app.
